Rediscovering Fun: Put “U” Back in FUN

The Rediscovering Fun (or “Put U Back in FUN”) workshop uses horses and the synergy a small group of women creates, to provide an experience where women are freed to rediscover their own heart’s delight. Whether or not you’re interested in horseback riding, this workshop offers the chance to enter a new and interesting world. We play with the horses on the ground, rather than riding them.

Horses 099: The Basics of Horsin’ Around

OK, M’am. You’ve decided you’d like to do some serious horsing around — in the saddle or not. Where do you get started?

In this fun, hands-on workshop, we introduce the different schools/styles of riding (it’s not just English or western!), what to wear, how to handle a horse, how to groom and tack up (and what the heck is all that tack!), how to be safe — basically, everything we wish we’d known before we went for our first (or tenth) lesson.

And...we’re going to put you up on a horse (if you want), for a cruise around the arena.

For those who aren’t really interested in riding and prefer to work with horses on the ground, we’ve got some great ideas about how you can get some “horse time” in!
